Prairie-Miner Loop – WOW

Project: Prairie-Miner Loop

Description: On this WOW (Women’s only weekend), we will be co-oping with the Wood River Trails Coalition (https://woodrivertrailscoalition.org/) to work the non-motorized trails of the Prairie-Miner Loop (potential trails: #134, #132, #135) in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.  We will be car camping near the trailhead the night of the 24th, which is ~30 minutes north of Ketchum.  Participants should be prepared for a 2 mile hike in and out of the project site each day.  Volunteers will focus on cutting out downed trees, brushing, tread work, and drainage improvements.

Dates: July 25-26

Volunteer Limit: 12

Fee to Hold Spot: No

Difficulty: 3 – Difficult
