Where to go hiking
The best and most reliable information about where to go hiking in Idaho can be found in published trail guide books. These sources have been “ground truthed” by the authors and are very affordable. We encourage you to use guidebooks over free sources of information on the internet because internet sources may be unreliable or inaccurate. Many of the authors of trail guide books also donate proceeds to organizations like the Idaho Trails Association to help preserve your access to Idaho’s hiking trails.
