The Idaho Trails Association encourages our members to become annual supporters and subscribers to the Life Flight Network.

Even with proper awareness, attention and planning for the inherent risks associated with backcountry work and play, a potential to become injured, sometimes catastrophically, is always a factor in terra incognita.Combined with the difficulty and distance for transportation to a medical facility, the risks and costs associated with any injury out in the wild are magnified. As an example, if medical air transport is required, the cost can be as high as $15,000.

This is where a membership to the Life Flight Network comes in. With a low cost annual membership to Life Flight you can be assured that should you require medical air transport within the Life Flight Network area, your costs for that transport are completely covered. And for groups of 10 or more who sign up, Life Flight provides a substantial discount from their already low annual fee.

The normal fee is $65.00 for an individual and immediate family members, but when you sign up through the ITA group membership, your cost is only $50.00 plus a small processing fee charged by Paypal.

To qualify for the ITA group discount,a minimum of 10 ITA members must sign up by filling out the Life Flight application and submitting the payment through the ITA links provided.  A Life Flight Network Group Membership is only open to ITA members. Join or renew an expired membership here prior to completing the form below.

Because of the group submittal and payment requirement, the Idaho Trails Association will open the Life Flight group membership application process on April 10th and close it on May 31st. Each year we will open the process up again for renewal.
